Individual & Team Contest Scoring

Rule 1

Play golf. Go to the Clubhouse. Have your score entered in the Legends Challenge Computer.

Rule 2

Handicaps do not apply toward Legends Challenge scoring.

Rule 3

The score for each hole will be converted to a Stableford score

Double eagle: 7 points
Eagle: 6 points
Birdie: 5 points
Par: 4 Points
Bogey: 3 Points
Double Bogey: 2 Points
Triple Bogey: 1 Point

Rule 4

A ranker for each hole is established by multiplying the Stableford score for each hole by the hole’s number

Rule 5

A Legends Challenge Score is achieved by adding all of the Stableford scores, and then adding all of the multiplier scores, resulting in a score that looks like: 62–524

Rule 6

The Legends Challenge Score is then reflected on the leaderboard at www.LegendsChallenge.com/Leaderboard

Team Scoring

Rule 1

A team may consist of any number of players, but only the top 4 individual scores will be used to reflect the team’s Legends Challenge score.

Rule 2

A golfer MUST declare his/her team name before entering his/her score in the Legends Challenge computer (team name must be worded and spelled accurately or may be reflected as another team).

Rule 3

All golfers compete as individuals, but may also compete as part of a team by declaring a team when entering their scores at the end of a round.

Rule 4

Team members do not have to play at the same time or even the same day.

Rule 5

Team members do not have to play the same course.

Rule 6

Five winning teams will advance to the final Legends Challenge Tournament in Spring 2010 (only the four golfers from each team with the highest scores will advance).

Rule 7

In the final Legends Challenge Tournament in Spring 2010, all golfers compete as individuals.
